LPG Technique in caring lymphedema after breast cancer

To measure, with objective and reliable techniques, the interest of LPG Technique in caring lymphedema after breast cancer and to compare its clinical and tissular efficacy with manual lymphatic drainage (MLD= reference technique). Acceptability of both treatments and interest regarding time of treatment (25 min for LPG Technique, 35 min for MLD) will be also evaluated. |
Monocentric, controlled, randomized on 2 parallel group (50 patients) study. |

Effect of the LPG Technique on adipocyte activity (in situ microdialysis)

To analyse and quantify by microdialysis the lipolytic effect of the LPG® technique with CelluM6 keymodule-i® on adipose tissue after 4 weeks treatment (3 sessions/week). The efficacy on lipids mobilization is measured by dosage of glycerol taken from microdialysis effluent. In addition, the effect on local blood flow is measured by dosage of urea. The effect of the LPG® technique is determined by comparaison of those same measures realized on the same subjects after 12 sessions of CelluM6® |
